Hamb: Rotari

Hamb: Rotari is a new fighting game by Surillyacom Entertainment. Find out what combinations of attacks work best, look for type advantages, and try not to struggle in different biomes with different types. Defeat your enemies on the way to the highest score!

This project was made during the GMTK 2025 game jam, following the theme "Loop", with looping action-sets that loop on a cake - and your enemies do them backwards!

As long as there is no global leader board, you can post your high score in the comments, if you like!

How to play?

• In game, you have a cake (Circle with 5 question marks) in the bottom right. This is your loop.
• Up top you have a small bar with 6 icons (actions)
• You can add an action to your loop by tapping on them, or pressing the respective number key on your keyboard
• With backspace, you can remove the action added last.
• When you selected all 5 actions for your loop, your minion will spawn, and with it an enemy.
• Your minion and your enemy start attacking each other at the same time - while doing that, your minion executes actions on your loop, one after the other, white the enemy does the exact same actions - but the other way around.
• When you attack your opponent, they will get the effect of the attack, that you can see over their head (e.g. fireball burns them)
• You do more or less damage, based on how effective your attack is - if you use VineWhip for example, your opponent with get that VineWhip effect, making them especially vulnerable against fireball in the next turn!
• You can figure out combos that make your attacks stronger, and the enemies attacks weaker, trying to defeat as many enemies in as few loops as possible!
